Hot Notes / Cool Nights Celebrates its 27th Season

In 1994, Tonia Burnette and Kelly Dehnert founded Hot Notes | Cool Nites to serve Fremont County by providing performance opportunities for young and old musicians and local bands. In addition, audiences in Lander and Riverton enjoyed four concerts that first year - two in each community. They have become a mainstay of outdoor, family entertainment for area residents.

Each concert features the Central Wyoming College Community Band and a Guest Artist. The various concoctions of amateur and professional, classical and popular folk and rock make for well-rounded evenings of musical pleasure for both artist and audience.

The 2023 Season features five concerts:

  • July 10 - Riverton City Park

  • July 17 - Lander City Park

  • July 24 - Riverton City Park

  • July 31 - Lander City Park

  • August 7 - Shoshoni City Park

Concerts begin at 7 PM.

Guest Artists featured this year will include the Lost Springs Band, Packin' the Mail, Buffalo Bill Boycott & Dr. Jo, Davis and Mavrick, and Lights Along the Shore.
